Harry & Fritz is a new, independently owned restaurant opening in downtown Pittsburgh in 2026. Our service model is built on teamwork, timing, and attention to detail, supporting a menu rooted in classic American dining heritage with a contemporary, seasonal approach. We are seeking reliable and energetic Food Runners to join our opening front-of-house team.

About the Role

Food Runners play a critical role in ensuring smooth service by delivering dishes accurately, efficiently, and with care. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy being part of a coordinated service team, and take pride in supporting a great guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior restaurant experience preferred, but not required

• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

• Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams

• Physical stamina to move quickly and remain on your feet during service

• Positive attitude and team-first mindset

• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining room accurately and efficiently

• Ensure proper presentation and timing of dishes

• Assist servers and bartenders as needed during service

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas

• Support overall service flow and guest satisfaction
