Harry & Fritz is a new, independently owned restaurant opening in downtown Pittsburgh in 2026. The host stand is the first and last point of contact for our guests, and hospitality begins the moment someone walks through the door. We are seeking warm, organized, and professional Hosts to join our opening front-of-house team.

About the Role

Hosts at Harry & Fritz set the tone for the guest experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are personable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and welcoming presence.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior hosting or customer-facing experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to manage waitlists and reservations efficiently

• Comfort handling guest questions and requests with confidence

• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival

• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists

• Coordinate seating with servers and management

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the host stand and entry area

• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and departures
