Harry & Fritz is a new, independently owned restaurant opening in downtown Pittsburgh in 2026. Cleanliness, organization, and behind-the-scenes support are essential to delivering a great guest experience. We are seeking dependable and hardworking Porters to join our opening front-of-house support team.

About the Role

Porters play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the restaurant. This position supports both front- and back-of-house operations by ensuring public spaces, restrooms, and service areas remain clean, stocked, and ready throughout service.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior porter, janitorial, or restaurant support experience preferred, but not required

• Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving throughout a shift

• Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and professionalism

• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dining room, restrooms, entryways, and service areas

• Assist with trash removal, recycling, and restocking supplies

• Support FOH and BOH teams as needed during service

• Ensure floors, fixtures, and public spaces meet cleanliness standards

• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
